What is B.Tech course fee per annum?

Ans: Fee Rs. 70,000/- per annum+ Rs.7500/- caution money(Refundable) for Engineering Program as per directions of Government of Rajasthan.

What about transportation facility?

Ans: Transport facility of SIIT cover all nearer and farthest corner of city. It is planned for the convenience of our students and staff members who are residing outside the campus.

How safe is the campus?

Ans: The SIIT does a great deal to promote the safety of its students. Unlike most institutions, the SIIT Group has its own professionally trained security guards that patrol the campus frequently. The Group bus service is another great resource; it leaves the local students at their door step and hostellers at hostel. SIIT is also having CCTV in whole campus to capture every moment of incoming & outgoing in campus. All campus is fully equipped with latest gadgets required for security.

What is the minimum eligibility criteria required to get admission in B.Tech?

Ans: As per guidelines issued by Government of Rajasthan, a student should be scored atleast 45% marks in PCM (physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and he/she belongs to reserved category of Rajasthan ( SC,ST,OBC) then at least 40% marks are required.

Is Wi-Fi facility available?

Ans: Yes, SIIT provides Wi-Fi facility to its faculties and students. This helps SIIT students to access internet for making projects, preparing assignments, learning new technologies, etc.

Do you offer financial aid to students? Does this affect my chances of being admitted?

Ans: Yes. We offer various kinds of financial aids for the deserving, needy and poor students. Also a special scholarship is available for girl candidate.

Is there hostel facility?

Ans: Yes, separate air cooled hostels are available for boys and girls. Hostels are facilitated with spacious, hygienic and well maintained mess caters variety of meals.

What about training & campus placement?

Ans: SIIT is highly focused on its students’ training and campus placements. In this regard, SIIT has tie-ups with various renowned industries like Microsoft, oracle,IBM and many more. Moreover, various personality development programmes, english communication skill classes, etc are organized so as to develop overall personality of the student.

Is library well equipped?

Ans: SIIT library is fully stocked with course books, technical magazines(National, International, E-journals), industry specific sources, newsletters from various industries(like DRDO,BHEL, BEL, etc.).Moreover leading Hindi/English newspapers and video CD’s of eminent professors from IITs/NITs available in E-library procured from NPTEL are available.

What about Book Bank facility?

Ans: Yes, Book Bank Facility is available.

What are library visiting hours?

Ans: Normally a student can avail library facility from 8:30am to 5:00pm. However hostlers can use library till 8:00pm.

Apart from Tution fee and caution money, is there are other hidden charges?

Ans: No, there are no hidden charges. All the fees are charged as per university norms like RTU enrollment fees, university exam fees, etc.

What are all the engineering courses?

Ans: SIIT offers B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering,Computer Science Engineering,Electronics & Communication Engineering,Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.

Is SIIT assisting for Educational loan through banks?

Ans: We provide assistance and all documents required for education loan for the bank , Also a separate cell is working for loan assistance Measure Banks of countries provide loan to our students like Punjab National Bank(PNB),State Bank of India(SBI),Axis Bank, ICCI Bank, HDFC Bank, Bank of Baroda(BOB),Bank of India(BOI).

What are college timings?

Ans: College timings are from 8:30am to 2:45pm(in summers) and 9:00am to 3:15pm(in winters).

Is there any extra curriculum activities, apart from academics?

Ans: We understand that today’s corporate world is demanding versatile technocrats. Keeping this in mind, apart from academic knowledge, various personality development programmes, english communication skill classes, etc are organized so as to develop overall personality of the student.

What about sport’s facility?

Ans: SIIT provides all necessary sports facilities for various indoor and outdoor games like volleyball, cricket, lawn tennis, table tennis, carom, chess, badminton, etc. ANNUAL SPORTS MEET is also held in which various sports competitions are organized by the students and for the students under faculty vigilance.

Is gymnasium facility is availed to students?

SIIT has high class, well-equipped gymnasium. Students can enjoy gym facility either in the morning or evening as per their convenience.

What are the documents required at the time of admission?

The original documents essentially required at the time of admission are:-
10th marksheet,12th marksheet,transfer certificate,character certificate, migration certificate,domicile certificate,caste certificate (if applicable), income certificate (if applicable) and five recent passport size photographs.
