These events help to boost up the confidence of the students by providing them a working pragmatic platform. Organizing the various events help students to get updated about outer world fluctuations and they get chance to interact with world.
The main events are:

  • College Day

  • Celebration of what?

College Day

Every year, out of the busy college schedule, one day is set apart just for the hostellers and collegiate so that they can enjoy and celebrate the day meant exclusively for them. “ERA” – our hostel day is celebrated to mark the talent and to facilitate the achievements of hostellers in both academics as well as the non-academic activities conducted in the hostel throughout the year.

The hostellers participate in the occasion and enjoy to their fullest. Besides the Prize Distribution ceremony, students also enjoy the cultural performances which show their talent. The celebration ends with DJ night.

This day means a lot for every hosteller and is the most awaited event of the year. Preparation starts early to the celebration night. Winners are appreciated by a certificate and a memento. This day is generally celebrated in the month of April, mostly on Sunday, so that regular college schedule doesn’t get affected. All the dignitaries bestow their blessings to motivate and guide the students for their future success.

At SIIT we have a very unique system of “MENTORSHIP”. Every year a trip is organized for the mentors providing them a break from their busy schedule. This trip is completely organized by students themselves under the guidance of Chief Warden. This year Mentors of 2nd Year went on mentor’s tour on ………………… at Samod and Maleshwar.
They were accompanied with faculty coordinators.
Apart from these, students also visited several tourist places.
