SIIT organized its annual sports week in March 2015. During this sports week various outdoor & indoor games competition is held. The outdoor games such as Cricket, Football, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Badminton, Athletics and indoor games such as Carom, Table tennis, Chess etc. are major games of interest in the week. SIIT celebrated National Youth day to pay homage to our esteemed leader & monk Swami Vivekanand on 12th January 2015 in the college campus. Respected Director Sir & faculty members observed a silence for a while in remembrance of Swami Vivekanand by floral tributes.

This is to intimate all the 6th & 8th semester students that the commencement of their classes will be on 2nd January, 2015. This is advised all the students that they must come in proper uniform & on time in the college.
A blood donation camp was conducted in the college campus. Many students voluntarily came up to donate the blood. Refreshments were provided to the students who were part of the camp. The commencement of the event was held with the motivational speech of the Director Sir. He motivated the students to donate blood in every six months. It was the most pious & generous work for humanity & every youth must participate in it.
SIIT celebrates Republic day every year. It’s a tribute to our constitution & constitution makers. The Indian flag is hoisted by our honorable director sir & national anthem is sung by college students. A motivational speech is also delivered by our respected Chairman Sir.
Indian Army, the land-based power of our country, is conducting campus drive in SIIT on 19th January 2015. The delegates organize a seminar on Indian army as well as conduct campus interview. Selected candidates will be eligible for the next screening round. Various engineering college students & SIITians show their enthusiasm & actively participated in the event.
